Hair Care - Part 2
This is e 2nd part of Chap 2 of Barbie Hsu’s book – Mei Rong Dai Wang. It teaches me about hair care.
Barbie’s 7 ‘crazy’ rules 4 takin care of hair:
Rule 1: Keep a safe distance.
Usually, Barbie wont let her hair ‘touch’ e things it wont suppose 2 ‘touch’. 4 e.g: she will move her hair 2 e front of her breasts when she’s sittin down. She absolutely wont allow her hair to come in contact wif e chair!
Rule 2: Nothing can press ur hair.
When Barbie’s riding a car, she will let her hair rest in front of e safety belt.
Rule 3: Dun hv unnecessary physical contact.
When Barbie’s watchin tv at home, she oso will ‘put’ her hair in front, it is impossible for her hair 2 rub against e sofa!
Rule 4: Raise ur hair b4 u sleep.
If ur hair is long enough at a certain length, u muz raise ur hair b4 u sleep so as not 2 let ur hair press between ur body and pillow. If u dun do so, u will find that all ur hair are tangled after u wake up after u try 2 sleep like tis for 2 days. It will oso become very dry which is e consequence of letting ur hair rub against ur pillow!

Just let nature take its course
yest, i went hm late so i din blog. xmas is tml. i tink i gona gif up on him cos he dun seem 2b interested in mi. he din join us 4 lunch tis 2 days. i oso dunno abt his personal stuff neither does he noe mine aniwae. w/o him i can blog on other stuff. i find that i enjoy bloggin. its fun tho no1 came 2 read yet. poor thing rite? i'm stil new here. smtms i tink i dun match him. i tink i jus let it b and kp our rship tis way. den whether 2 settle wif my bf.... i'm stil considerin cos nw i'm givin up on him... haiz. if he's nt interested, den i'm juz wastin tm and i dun wan put in more effort on him cos i stil dun understd him better and i've a bf. however, i'l stil b happi when he smiles at, looks at and tok 2 mi :)

So happi 2dae :) Frequent eye contact will develop into love?
oh dear, i dunno hw 2 start... we din greet each other in e mornin. he seemed bz preparin his brkfast lol. i heard him mention tuna n apples. he went 2 his old drawer 2 tk a spoon. he commented my broli was big when he saw it. den i asked 'is it?' den he told me he was jus kiddin lol. so typical of him. he's so gd stil treats mi e same aft i sent him a msg in Fb ;p den he remarked tis thurs, we work 1/2 dae. a collic said i oredy knew. den i tink he said lk tt's gd cos he can dun c mi. den i asked him y he said so. shit, i cant catch wat he said or he jz kept quiet? den i said 'but nx mon, he'l stil c mi wat lol'. den he said 'too bad lol'.
he sat bhind my seat when we were on e way 4 lunch in our collic's car :) feel so gd... we nv sit near each other when dining tog. sth v funni happened. while he was eatin 1/2way, sth dropped in his plate agn lol~! its e bird's fault lol~! dunno he saw mi laugh at him agn anot lol~! y he was alw so 'heng'? lol~! he looked v comical lol~! if i sat near him, i sure mocked at him le lol~! i shd hv taken pic of tt lol~! he mk fun of mi when our collic commented on e way i walked :( when we were goin bk office, he sat in e middle bhind. dunno y he suddenli said it was my fault when i tink his seat bumped... :/ den i asked' oh reli? jz nw who was e 1 who ate alot lor? lol' den all laughed. den our collic said nx tm dun let mi c wat they ate le.' den i defended 'hey, it was him who started tis~! y u picked on mi?' den thr was laughter agn.
in e aftnoon, i tink he noticed mi more... oh, we made close eye contact. i can c his big eyes clearly -.- i dunno y it seemed like a coincidence. i tink we looked at each oth for a few seconds. den we felt paiseh... oh, it was like so close 2 him and we can kiss lol~! tis was e 1st time we look at each other so close and long. last tm when lunchin wif him and sat opp him, we oso din hold e stare 4 tis long... tho oni once, i oredy was veri satisfied n happi lol! when i was tokin on my hp, he heard and saw my unhappi look. tis was e 1st tm i spk hokkien in frt of him~! wonder wats his feelin...

tis mornin, he started 2 tok 2 mi hee... i saw his happi smile lookin at his pc 1st dae in e mornin lol. he saw mi look so happi when enterin e office. so he asked mi y e new guy nv came and i felt so happi. i said 'aiya, u bluff mi 1 la lol'. den he said tt guy's comin in a few days. but i noe he stil joked wif mi la lol. he looked at mi mani x agn 2dae hee. i noe cos he gt turn his head c mi when i opened e door lol. mebe cos i wore nicenice 2dae ;p
he nv acc mi go lunch 2dae which puzzled mi alot. tho i was mentalli prep le. heng my fren was willing 2 do so. he reasoned he wan eat e curry rice at tt canteen. i kept tinkin alot cos i dun quite blive him leh. isit cos he's shy? he dun like 2 eat wif mi cos he dun lk bein alone wif mi? but at least he asked mi wan e cleaner 2 buy 4 mi? den he 4gt stil gt my fren 2 eat wif us. i jus asked my fren was he lk tt when workin wif her last tm? she said he gt eat wif her b4 leh :( i wonder y he treated mi differently haiz...

He changed sittin place... :(
tis mornin, when i reached office, i tot i wont c him 2dae and tis 5 days le cos i tot he's goin 4 course. i felt disappointed initially. den i heard my collic tell e Security that he will b comin in e aftnoon. he's on half-day leave.
finali, he came at 12+ pm. waliao, he wore so casual. 1st time c him wear long-sleeved shirt. i tink he abit looks like weari pjms 2 work lol. but he wears black agn lol. no1 was in e office when he came in so he asked mi tk lunch oredy. i answered 'haven. waitin 4 e oth collic'. he had asked e ah nei 2 buy lunch 4 him so he's lunchin in. aft lunch, i asked 4 his help when i was markin e tests. he joked wif mi lol~! when i asked e oth collic, he asked y i dun ask him le. den i said cos tis collic's more reliable lol. xtuali, its cos oni he's in e ofc besides 1 uncle mah lol.
when its near knockin-off time, i tot y he was so weird. he was cleanin up his table, shiftin e desktop in front of mi 2 his table, clearin his junk etc.. i felt he look at mi agn when he was in frt of mi hee... but i tried nt 2 look bk at him lol~! den my collic asked mi 2 print e new phone ext list. i printed 4 every1. he was unsatisfied and asked y i din laminate and small. i said cos tt collic said can dun nid 2 laminate lol. but aft e Security ah nei requested, i redid e printout and laminated lor. den when i passed it 2 him, he commented abt e size or edge. shit, i've forgotten he commented on which 1 ~! i said he's fussy. if he's nt happi, den he did it himself lol~! den he was quiet and smiled.

tis mornin, he cfmed wif mi when boss is comin bk fr leave. i answered 'tml lor'. den he asked mi y he din tk until tml. i asked him ask boss lor. but he looked serious cos he nv laughed. i tink 2dae he's bz wif work. we nv tok 2 each oth durin lunch. heard him chat wif another collic more but nvm. tink they r gd frenz lor. heard him tell him he cant finish his food in US cos e portion quite big. den i was wonderin whether i can finish anot lol. i tot he gona mention my name agn lol. oh ya, he reli gt mention my name cos he's tokin abt e funni part yest lol. den ltr when i'm chattin wif tt collic abt tml's test, he oso joined in e conversation and laughed 2 my jokes hee...

He's back~! Yeah, he still treats me e same :)
He had come bk 2 work 2dae. greeted him tis mornin. den sent him bk his work file. he said tks 2 mi. so happi 2 c his smile earli in e mornin lol~! he told mi i can eat e Hershey chocolates he bought fr US but he din put em in fridge. i said 'ok, later'. ooooo... til nw, he stil rem i pref 2 eat cold chilled chocolates ;p so happi lol~! 2dae, he wore black shirt. tink tis my 1st tm c him wear tis color lol~! wow he's so suave! den tis mornin can smell his cologne. wonder isit his gf bought 4 him... cos last tm he nv wears cologne 2 work. at least snc i work thr. or cos he nv bathe? but impossible la lol~!
when we were on e way 4 lunch, he started 2 mention mi hee... he jokingly asked mi 2 go n tell 1 lady nt 2 wear shorts! cos her legs nt slim... i asked him wat if she slapped mi? he said den they'l protect mi! is he hintin he'l protect mi? i oni wan him protect mi leh lol~! i noticed e hair on his chin grew longer. seem lk he din shave in US lol. nt nice leh keke. when our collic went 2 buy juices, he said they saw HK's Maria's daughter at e KL airport. his mom kp askin isit reli her? lol. den when we were on e way bk 2 office, he asked whether i striked Toto tt time anot. i said 'no, tio jiak lol'. wow, he stil rem i bought lol~! wow, i can say his memory's v gd lol~!

Elvin Ng & Kang Chengxi's blog... He's comin bk tml~!
2dae, I was reading Elvin Ng and Kang Chengxi’s blogs in office. Found that Elvin likes 2 tok about Life which I found 2b profound and smtms true. Tink his blog is sth lk Chicken Soup and I like it. I can find peace reading it. Mebe u ppl can go and read it when u feel down and it will sorta cheer u up. At least, to me, I can. His is a special blog from mani ppl I guess cos gd questions were posed wif his inner tots. I suppose he’s someone who will examine himself and life when he’s alone. I agree wif him tt if u do things alone by urself, u no nid 2 smile and accommodate oth ppl. Mebe I shd try go watch movie myself 1 dae in a cinema. Shd b a diff feelin fr watchin it at home by myself….
Reading Chengxi’s blog is veri relaxin cos he’s veri funni. His language and mine are e same in e sense that we dun use proper English and there are nt mani pix lol. dunno y he likes 2 use mani’…..’ in his blogs lol. so nw I noe he’s workin at Standard Chartered Bank, no more actin. Waliao, I’m so outdated. Dun ask mi he’s workin at which branch. Go read his blog urself lol. Last time, I used 2 like him when he’s stil in Mediacorp cos he’s handsome and boyish lol. had watched all his dramas b4. nw, I oso din dislike him tts y I’m reading his blog lol. From his blog, he should be a friendly and nt hypocrite guy. His pet rabbit looks cute. Oh, I tink he grad e same time s my bf? Omg, they are reli from same sch keke… haiz.. my bf oso

2dae, I I happened 2 see our local chiobu actresses, Ivy Lee, Ann Kok and Jesseca Liu’ blogs when I was browsin Andy Lee’s blog. Den it links 2 all tis 3 chiobu’s blogs lol. Its nice 2 read e local celebrities’ blogs. I’m happi and enjoyin it ;p I realised they’l update at least once a mth. I suppose its cos they r bz wif their work.
I like Ann and Jesseca’s blogs cos they contain mani nice pix. Lookin at Ann’s pix, I found her 2b more beautiful le. Dunno y. mebe she noe hw 2 maintain her looks lol. Or its cos of her mkup? Lol. I like her pix on e ch 8 9pm show which had jz ended, Daddy At Home, Qi E Baba. Cos Chen Hanwei looks so funni lol~! Nw den I noe Jesseca likes cats and she’s gd frenz wif Ann~! 1 of her pet cats is so cute ;p

Hair Care - Part 1
This is Chap 2 of Mei Rong Dai Wang – Hair Care. In Barbie Hsu’s view, taking care of hair is not e most crucial thing~! Possessing healthy hair is e most important~! If ur hair is healthy, u do not need to take great effort to take care of it, as long u dun wilfully go and ruin ur hair, u wont damage it. To maintain healthy scalp, e key thing is how u wash ur hair, u muz b extra careful in using e brand of shampoo u usuali use.
Barbie’s scalp has been in very good health except when her mood is bad or under intense pressure, her hair will become very fine and eventually she experiences hair fall. Her emotional changes tend 2 affect her scalp’s condition. However, when tis happens, she will alter her shampoo brand 2 adjust e condition.
If u wish ur hair will grow out long and healthy, e correct way of washing ur hair is reli, reli very important~! Unless ur hair is super-duper oily, u dun hv 2 wash it every day. Normally, people only need 2 wash hair once every 2 days. If u had perspired, of cos u need 2 wash ur hair. If ur hair is of dry quality and dun get dirty or smelly, it is no harm 2 wash once every 3 days! In my opinion, hair muz b rinsed thoroughly after shampooin so as not 2 leave ani shampoo on e hair which can cause dandruff. Like tis, hair wont b clean as well.
E correct ways to washing hair are as follows:
- Step 1: Use e inner part of ur fingers 2 massage scalp.
During washing, u muz use e inner part of ur fingers 2 rub e whole scalp with e bubbles of ur shampoo covering every inch of ur scalp.
- Step 2: Wash thoroughly twice.
U muz always remember 2 comb ur hair b4 washing 2 ensure that it is not tangled. U muz wash ur scalp and hair separately i.e. wash ur scalp first, then followed by hair. If u hv oily hair, use e product which is meant 4 ur scalp first b4 using certain product with milk or amino acid contents to wash ur hair in a normal way. When washing ur hair, u can push it 2 one side and gently stroke it and use ur fingers 2 smoothen and ‘open’ it.
Please do not bend ur head over or upside down to wash it as e latter will enable u 2 develop ugly lines on ur forehead.
Some people have mani ‘baby hair’ and Barbie Hsu’s no exception. She suggests not 2 shave it as she thinks it is natural and nice. Mani artistes and models shave their ‘baby hair’ as per their stylist’s advice. E ‘baby hair’ that grow out aft shavin mani times is coarse, so when u touch it, u will feel like touching ‘durian head’, very scary~! u can refer 2 e pic below if u dunno wats 'baby hair' :)

i'm readin Barbie Hsu's Mei Rong Dai Wang nw. she started 2 do research on beauty since she was 17 yrs old!
2dae, i had finished readin Chap 1 about slimmin. Poor Barbie had suffered stomach flammation aft eatin apple n yoghurt oni for 3 days! den, she oso kp goin 2 toilet durin her lesson when usin laxatives! in e end, these 2 methods nv mk her lose weight. she learnt tt students r unsuitable 4 e latter unless needed 4 constipation! she advised high sch students nt 2 slim down cos will damage e health n nt worth it. wrong slimming approaches used will result in diet imbalance n loss of skin elasticity and hydration, affect breasts' growth durin puberty, n most probably cannot grow tall and bones will develop problems.
Barbie is most unsatisfied with her fat thighs! durin high sch, she used a 'fats-burnin' product and felt a strong sensation. at 1st, she experienced redness, swollenness and itch. den aft abt 1 dae, e skin on her thigh started 2 develop bloody flakes! it tk a v long tm den recover cos she had skin allergy 4 mani days! tis is another ineffective way.

2dae is e dae he goes 2 US le... wont c him for 2 wks. tis mornin, when i came in2 office, he saw mi n i smiled bk den we greeted each oth :) e office was v quiet until u asked mi whether wanna eat Princles. den i walked bhind him 2 go n tk it n Kit Kat but i nv offer u lol. den he oso nv asked anithing. he saw mi tk both den said i 'pig'... i dunno hw 2 defend myself nvm... den we tok abt work. he asked mi 2 tk e stationery folder 4 u. so i went 2 help him tk. den when he was leavin office, we looked at each other n he bade me gdbye playfully :) dunno y recently, he lk 2 act playful wif mi ;p u oso v gd cos he put bk e folder urself.

So happy~!
2dae, i'm quite happi cos of him cos he looked at mi alot e whole dae. i noticed it. wonder isit cos tml he's goin overseas le lol. cos i dun tink i wore nice clothes 2dae lol.
tis mornin, i 'caught him red-handed' lol. i asked him wat he's lookin at? he cant ans mi n juz smiled :) den when our other collic asked mi whether i received 1 call anot, he oso looked at mi. k i noe tis normal la but another collic din c mi leh... dunno y whenever he pushes his chair back against e wall, i feel he's lookin at mi n see wat i doin. den, he oso asked whether i'm havin lunch anot cos e office left us oni. i din realise it. he's lk carin 4 mi or jz normal lor. but i nv c him ask oth gers tt b4 lol.
he mk fun of mi agn. aft lunch, he asked isit i went 2 eat happi meal? cos i nv lunch wif e guys 2dae. he stil rem tis joke.. so 'gt heart' lol. he noe i'm eatin e lollipop my fren gave mi and told my collics i'm eatin it quietly n nv offer em lol. den i showed him e box of Mentos n said he oso hv. he asked hw i noe? i said cos its obvious (on his desk). aft our collic offered mi Princles, he said i looked so hapi whenever i gt sth 2 eat... den i asked him 'where got?' lol. he oso said i eat everything 1. den i feel lk beatin him. when he looked my way, i asked him y he said tt? did he mean i eat every 'rubbish' uh? den he nv ans n juz smiled lol.

Sad :'(
2dae, i feel so moody... :(
tis mornin, i oni got 2 c him in e mornin... he looked tired. i noe he did look at mi. but we nv greet each oth 'gd mornin'... den aft 9AM, he's nowhere in sight oredy. i tot he's in e oth office. den ltr, i realised he had gone trainin. no wonder...
i feel moody n sad not cos of him. its cos of my bf. last nite, he said he'l b happier if i can attract guys. tis makes mi feel he's not worried that i will runaway if there's a better guy chasin me. so wat abt havin trust n confidence in mi? did he tk mi 4 granted? well... 2 mi, as long we r nt married, anythng can hap. even if i trust him, i wont trust oth gers.
jz nw, smsed him. he oni replied aft gt hm cos his hp batt dead. den he nv rly agn.. i guess muz b cos he's chargin his hp in his parents' room so no rly mi. but i oredy told him i sad, he shd pay attn 2 mi rite? mebe go chk his hp once awhile whether i smsed him anot. he's alw lk tt, nv b thr when i'm down :(

1st memorable moment of my work life there~!
2dae, i so happi he had taken e initiative 2 rearrange e can drinks which i had arranged previously in e cabinet~! i gt e opportunity 2b so close 2 him again lol~! jz side by side....
at 1st, he came in2 e ofc n asked mi isit i dun like him so mch uh? cos i din replenish his fav soyabean drink. well.. i dunno e drinks were finished le. cos i sick n absent 4 work last thurs n fri. so i faster gave him e cabinet key so he can go replenish himself. den i oso went 2 join him n chk lor. indeed, e fridge dun hv animore of his fav drink le. when he opened e cabinet, he asked y i arranged lk tt? lk so messy. i told him cos i lk lol~! he oso said it muz b mi who finished e drinks when i told him thr r nt mani soyabean can drinks left le. i argued it was him lor. den he asked hw i noe? i said cos i'm nt e 1 mah lol~! i dunno y he squatted down 2 rearrange mebe cos its nt a pleasant sight 2 him or he's guilty lol~! but no matter wat, i can oso squat bside him 2 tk out 2 drinks 2 go replenish e fridge, i oredy v happi. my hand was close 2 his n he din siam lor lol. but dunno y my heart din beat v fast when we so close 2 each oth...

1st post between me and him
i've been workin here 4 almost 2 mths le... i was first introduced to the guy who sits beside mi after my interview. my 1st impression of him is tall n handsome. he was oso e oni guy i got 2 know then. kk nvm about e past... i'm goin 2 share my tots here fr now onwards no matter wat hap n hope 2 gt some comments here :) mebe i tok abit of myself here 1st. i'm an attached female in a relationship wif my bf for 4+ yrs le. i'm 28 and he's 24.
for e past 1 mth, i oni tink of my collic and mi. but nt in tt kinda special way. its jz e way he's treatin mi. i even go n find out hw 2 tell whether a guy likes a ger on9. i'm doin tis cos e gers told me he wont tk e initiative 2 tok 2 gers. whenever he toks 2 mi or smiles at mi, i'm ecstatic~! i'm oso elated when we r oni 2 left in e office even we nv chat wif each other cos bein in e same room wif a handsome guy's gd thing lol~! i'm oso happy when he mk mi laugh when we chat. he likes 2 call my name when he toks 2 our collics.
